One person, two trades.
Patrick Stabell is the founder of Metro Point Technology, an AI and software studio in Cape Coral, Florida. He designs and builds smart software that puts AI to work inside the tools businesses already use, and he runs the studio as a solopreneur: he sets the direction, and a team of AI agents handles much of the execution.
Technology came early. His father spent his career as a physicist at IBM, and Patrick grew up immersed in it. That foundation became a career in enterprise software development, system architecture and business automation.
Insurance is the experience that keeps the software honest. He started as an agent, worked every role in the agency, and owned and operated an independent insurance agency in Orange County, California, for many years. Today he is the founder of Metro Point Insurance Services in Cape Coral, an AI-native insurance agency that runs on Agenient, the AI-native agency platform he built. It is the proving ground: new software is tested in a real business before it is offered to anyone else.
After years of agency software that was too complicated, too expensive, or aimed at the wrong problems, he started building his own. Clients of the studio and the agency work with Patrick directly, not a call center.
